In continuing with the themes of this blog, my newly formed Twitter account, and other pushes towards establishing, cultivating, and benefiting from a distinct online identity and presence, I offer the following video, Identity 2.0.
This video is a speech by Dick Hardt, delivered at O’Reilly’s Open Source Conference 2005. Incidentally, after delivering this speech, Mr. Hardt has since taken a job with Microsoft. It remains to be seen how this will impact the online identity field.
The video is long, but very informative, not to mention entertaining. Turns out proving you are who you say you are is much more difficult in a digital context.
